Description
Freja by Brooklyn Tweed: Cardigans are a wonderful layering piece when the weather gets chilly. This dropped shoulder cardigan is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up, then sewn together. Pockets and adapting the pattern for longer sleeves is optional. In this class, the knitter will learn the Rib Cabled Cast On, Sloped & Joinery Bind Off techniques, Wrap and Turn Short Rows as well as how to block for successful seaming. This intermediate skill level bulky cardigan will be a perfect cozy addition to your fall wardrobe.
Skills needed:
- Firm knowledge of knit and purl stitches, knitting flat plus familiarity with decrease and increase stitches.
- You have knit a sweater or cardigan.

- US# 11, 32” circular needles or size needed to achieve gauge
- US# 11, 16” circular needles or double point needles for sleeves
- US# 10, 32” circular needles
- Locking stitch markers

- Waste yarn (yarn scrap in a contrasting color than your sweater yarn) or other stitch holders
- Tapestry needle
- Measuring tape

- Firmly spun yarn in same color for seaming
